Patton 360 - battle of the bulge
Bastogne, Belgium
During the Battle of the Bulge, the American 101 Airborne Division, along with the all African American 333rd and 969th Field Artillery Battalions, were surrounded by Germans until Patton's 3rd Army pushed through and put an end to the last major German offensive. General Dwight Eisenhower, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces, declared that Bastogne needed to be held no matter the cost!
